Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Specialist

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist practicing in the New York and NJ area.  I work with persons ages 10+ who have trouble coping with anxiety, depression, relationship, and other interpersonal issues.  I work primarily within the Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy orientation (CBT), using empirically supported treatments.

I specialize in helping people with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). I have over twelve years of experience, seven years working with a world renowned expert in OCD, where I obtained extensive training in using Exposure and Response Prevention techniques. I commonly treat Phobias, Social Anxiety, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, and Eating Disorders. My work also frequently addresses depression, perfectionism, and personality issues but I am experienced treating a wide range of issues beyond the scope of this paragraph.

I am a compassionate, empathetic psychologist who understands the importance of a strong therapeutic relationship and clinical understanding of your issues so that we can work together to achieve your goals. This contributes to the success of my clients
